As a Child we were taught a song, "leaning on the everlasting arms." At a certain point in the lyrics the phrase "safe and secure from all alarm," appears. Sadly while many know the song, only a few know the reality of the song. Many labor under the misapprehension that God is going to take back his salvation if they cross an imaginary line the sand. Saved by faith but kept by works? If we are kept by our efforts sooner or later we are bound to fail, who then can be saved? However if we are saved by grace, not based on our works, efforts, or deeds, who then can be lost?
